Adolphe Sax Alto Saxophone
This listing is for a Adolphe Alto Sax with the following markings. 1er Grand Prix de la facture instrument. Considering its age it is looking good with lacquer wear as shown in the pictures. We bought the sax in 2017 and have done nothing to it. It does play even though not my number one instrument, it goes down to the bottom and up until my ears hurt. It has George Besson pads fitted, has a neck strap and a Kelltone MC mouthpiece. We think the plug is a replacement and it is missing its lyre screw. Serial number is 5XXX which dates it post 1944.
