You simply do not see these original, untouched very often. This mouthpiece shows only light oxidation of the hard rubber content around its shank, and some very minor ligature scuff marks around its body. The beak has long been protected by a patch and is in pristine shape, and the tip and rails look new.

A tremendous example of a Meyer that just has never been played hard. It is stamped a 4M with medium chamber, and measures. 068, so not terribly small. It plays great with a medium-hard reed.
