Slade Eb Alto Sax In Brushed Copper Finish. There are plenty of these Slade saxes around. They are made in China and are one of the most affordable saxes you can get, with the added bonus of being pretty well built & well set up. This sax has been used by me less than a handful of times.

Sometimes I get given an instrument which I can write a review on. Its a sax that I would be more than happy to play out & today I did just that. I took it to my gig & played it for the second half of our set list (see photos)! It was good to see how it stacks up against my vintage alto. It did a good job and was consistent with intonation and good ergonomics.

It comes with cleaning cloths, a pack of reeds, which might be a bit too hard for a brand new player as they are a size 2 1/2. If youre new you will want to start on a 1 or 1 1/2 reed.

The mouthpiece has not been used by me so is in good clean condition. A very smart outfit for someone. Looks great and sounds great.
