NONAKA SKY CASE double case for Alto & Soprano sax
The Sky case is simply fantastic. I bought it in 2017 and it has saved me many times struggles and arguments with Airlines about the carry-on hand luggage, particular in smaller planes and if you take next to your saxophones also a bag with computer ec.
It is super safe and the smallest double-case in existence. Mine has been well travelled and shows wear as you can see plus I removed some stickers which also leaves traces.The two remaning stickers from the German Jazz Musician´s Union I leave for the next owner as they are from the founding year of that union. Also, I had to modify the case for my low A Alto even that fitted!!!
, so in order now to make it safe for use with all standard Eb-models with left hand or right hand bell keys you find the part of the bell area and neck pouch remodelled (by a sluggish amateur case builder like me). It now fits perfectly, it just doesn´t have part of the original foam which was replaced by a black and red felt with padding. Another great feature is that you can remove the inlay for the soprano part of the case completely - so it acts like a travel case for Alto plus some space for clothes, labtop etc. Again great for air plane travels.SEE HERE FOR MORE DETAILS.
