This is a nice middle of the road alto piece that plays with that "pop" of a ponzol and has a lot of warmth in the low range. The baffle has been professionally modified and smoothed out by a respected technician since the original M2 Plus baffle is very high. I would call this an M "1.5"- somewhere in between an M1 and an M2 for baffle height.
The tip is now a. 105 This cuts very nicely and is well balanced. There is some scratching inside the chamber but I doubt it affects the sound. We use surgical stainless steel for our mouthpieces. This material is extremely durable and one of the safest materials to play. Stainless steel does not require plating so no unsafe chemicals are ever used in the production of the mouthpiece. There is no plating to wear or flake and the mouthpiece will show very little wear even after decades of use.
