Vintage Alto Sax Mouthpiece Selmer Paris C Silver Plate late 1940s

Silver plated Selmer Paris C Alto Sax mouthpiece, used but in very good condition. I bought this mouthpiece in 1978 and have carefully stored it as a collectors item. Judging by the information on Theo Wannes website, this piece is approximately from the late 1940s and is from the first Series of Metal mouthpieces ever produced by Selmer- sporting the fluted sides.

It is a small piece of saxophone history and I Hope that this lovely piece will bring joy to another saxophone enthusiast. This mouthpiece is used and shows signs of wear- which ist typical for a mouthpiece that is around 70 years old. The mouthpiece is playable and in very good condition (see photos)- but for the facing to be in perfect mint condition it would need to be adjusted accordingly by a professional.
