Vintage King Super 20 alto saxophone with full mother of pearl key touches and solid silver double socket neck. I still think these early Kings with pearl keys are the prettiest horns ever made and they really got a sound, in my opinion there's no horn out there that would compare Super 20's in response and fullness of the sound especially in high register.Having said that friend of mine commented "I never played a horn that wants to play low notes so much". I can certainly understand that, lows are resonating so well that sometimes one can't help not hitting them. The serial number is 283216 that's dating the sax at year 1946. The lacker is original and the sax looks beautiful. With a wear signs due to age and use, but still in very good condition with no nicks or dents.
One post of D sharp key guard might be re-soldered, I'm guessing and you could inspect photos yourself, it doesn't look bad at all. Pads are still good, the horn is gig ready and supplied with the original King case that looks old, but still holding together well enough and is fully functional. Refer to photos for further details, questions are welcome and also would happily provide more specific shots if needed.
