The neck is in great physical condition and does not show history of any major past trauma. The neck was more recently professionally plated at Anderson Silver Plating. Its silver plate finish looks very nice showing some cosmetic spotting under the finish.

These Balanced Action necks were identical to the first series of necks on the early SBA altos. They are also extremely hard to come by on their own as a replacement.
