Vintage Silver Plated Alto Saxophone Conn Beautiful Sax Make Offer Free Ship
Featured here is an early Pan American Silver Plated Alto Saxophone that has just received a complete overhaul including new non-stick pads with metal resonators, all new cork, and all new felt. The horn was washed thoroughly inside and out before being meticulously hand polished using Wright's Silver Cream.
Iy plays great and has a very sweet tone. It is apparent to me by the quality of the silver plate work on this sax that this horn was not only built with love, but also loved much during it's lifetime.
It appears to have been played extensively in an orchestra or something like that. I say that because of the incredible sturdiness of the silver plate on this sax, and how it is worn through only on a few key touches and the thumb hook, not to mention the soft wear on the bow and left side bell key guard. I will be uploading about 30 more pics of the sax later tonight. This is a beautiful little Alto Sax for anyone. Altos, C Tenors and Bb Tenors.
