These 82z saxophones have been a huge success where modern engendering meets the special musical voice of old. These are truly the closest example of a Selmer Mark Vi that you will ever find! Yamaha does not manufacture an over abundance of these horns and they are all currently in back order in the USA. If you wanted to order this Sax today it would be a special order and you would not see for around 6 months.

For your pleasure today is a beautiful, new 82z II un-laq Alto Sax. Its a rare and sought after model Made without the f# key and there are only several of these instruments released every year with out the f#. This model has no finish and although it is shiny now- it will continue to patina and get that great looking matte finished brass.

You will see a few spit marks on it from testing- these will not wipe off as the horn has no finish and will only continue to add to the patina. These zII saxophones come with the one piece bell as well as anealed bow to body (for increased low end response) and metal resonators. If you havent played one of these horns- do yourself a favor and try one!

Soon to be a classic and one of the best saxophones ever Made- period! This would make a great Christmas gift for the advancing student or working professional musician. It does not get any better than what these horns have to offer!
