Yamaha Alto Sax YAS 32 PRO Model Fully Overhauled

All the tone holes were leveled in the prep which means the pads are guaranteed to stay stable as the horn gets'played in' a little. The custom pads have themselves been put through a 2 week conditioning process while in the horn, to give them a nice deep seat; just like when they come out if the yamaha factory! Premium grade materials were used throughout including music-medic clear shallac, which give a the action a nice crisp feel compared to glue-gunned in pads (urgh).

The neck has been properly fitted to the body to eradicate even the smallesr leaks that can otherwise reek havoc with the saxes playability and tone. I'm so happy with the durability of the set up that I'm happy to offer free servicing for the first year, if you can get it back to me and pay for parts.

The YAS 32 & YAS 62 very similar in the sense that much of the keywork is interchangeable and the body tube adheres to the same dimensions; so it has the same sound and feel! I'd choose a well set up 32 over a so-so 62 any day of the week. It's only the lack of prestige that keeps them do affordable. There are a few patches of lacquer wear but no huge amounts of scratching, so it generally looks pretty neat IMO.

There are a few very light burnishing marks of the lip if the bell which are hard to pick out when this camera. This could be removed but the lacquer would be lost in that 1cm wide spot. For local, advancing players I'm happy to do a custom set up / tuning to help optimise it for your set up. I can include a neck strap and mouthpiece (if you want) but I'm anticipating this will go to a player, who will have their own gear, no doubt.
