Yamaha Yas 23 Alto Saxophone, Made in JAPAN, Serviced & Ready. This is a nice Yamaha Yas 23 Alto Saxophone. It is made in Japan.

Saxophone has been serviced which includes: dismantling of the saxophone, thoroughly hand cleaned, and inspected. (keys, rods, pads, springs, corks, felts). This saxophone had all new silencer cork put on as well as 9 new pads, and a new lyre screw. All of the rest of the saxophone parts were in great shape. Also, there were dents that were smoothed out.

The pads were all conditioned with leather conditioners, and the keys were all hand polished. After all of this was done the saxophone was then reassembled and then all the keys were aligned and adjusted and all mechanisms were lubricated.

The saxophone was leak light tested and play tested. It was adjusted as was necessary until it was playing and sounding amazing. This is a great sax now and will make a new student a fine instrument to start on. Cosmetic condition: the bell has a raw brass flare, there are small dents/dings, also scrapes and scratches.

There is mild corrosion, minor plating loss and plate dulling. Includes: a fair condition Yamaha hard case that has been cleaned, a good condition unbranded sanitized mouthpiece, a metal ligature, a neck strap, a brand new Riyin 2.5 reed, a brand new mouthpiece teeth guard/patch, key oil and cork grease. Please evaluate all of the pictures closely as they are part of the description and feel free to ask for more if needed.
