Yamaha YAS-62 Eb Alto Saxophone (Refurbished Instrument). The 62 is a really popular sax with intermediate and professional standard players. This version was made in Japan. When we had less customer work to undertake. Considering its age, the condition of the instrument is remarkable there is almost no wear at all.
The instrument is supplied in a Yamaha padded hard case, in excellent condition. It has a G1 model gooseneck. A Vandoren A15 mouthpiece, with its cap, is included. The mouthpiece is in excellent condition, but the cushion may need to be replaced.
Product Specification (copied from the Yamaha Music London website). As with all of our instruments, this saxophone has been fully serviced and tested by our brass technician to ensure complete function and the best possible sound. Consequently, the mechanical condition is excellent. Any pads which were not in good condition have been replaced, and any which did not form a full seal have been re-seated. The action has been checked and adjusted, and there is minimal unwanted play in the keywork. The instrument plays very well, producing a solid tone. Cosmetically, the instrument is in excellent condition. The overall lacquer condition is remarkably good, and the only wear is a single tiny dent on the bottom bow. You are most welcome to visit and test the instrument in our playing room prior to making a commitment.We can often arrange a home trial; contact the showroom for more details.
