I think that you can use it immediately because the scale has been checked and fine-tuned. It was said that if you blow it in, you can make a better sound. It seems that the cork on the neck is a little thin because I used the metal mouthpiece of Mayer and Yanagisawa.
If you are concerned about breath leakage with your mouthpiece, consider rewinding sealing tape or cork. Since I have used it carefully, there are no major scratches.
