Important Note: Necks are not supplied, and adapters supplied need to be soldered onto your instrument neck and a small hole drilled into the bore. It differs from the PiezoBarrel P7 or'Wood' in that it was developed to provide a flatter frequency response and a lower output to provide a sound similar to a stand mic, but without feedback or spill.
4m long 3.5mm to 6.3mm shielded cable to plug in to standard 6.3mm (1/4 inch) line or instrument socket. Small Phillips screwdriver to adjust output level (this is generally not required or recommended). Blocking screws with O rings. These are available in slightly different variations to fit small necks (soprano or alto sax), medium necks (tenor or baritone sax), large necks (alto or bass clarinet), or available without brass adapters as an upgrade if you already have a suitable M6 x 1.0 6mm metric threaded adapter installed on your instrument.
Provides a High Impedance signal that is compatible with guitar effect pedals. High signal to noise ratio. Output voltage is adjustable between zero and full output voltage so it can be altered to work with devices expecting small microphone level signals. This is not generally recommended except to utilize wireless mic systems as a DI is more suitable to convert the signal to a (XLR) balanced line.
Suitable for use with Guitar and instrument (Line Level) inputs (or Mic level inputs using a DI box).
